Itinerary
- 2:30–3:30 PM — Hotel pickup
Your driver collects you from your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman in a 4x4 Land Cruiser — 2:30–3:30 PM in winter (October–March), 3:00–4:00 PM in summer (April–September). We'll message you on WhatsApp the evening before, or early on the morning of the tour, with the exact pickup time and instructions.
- 3:45–4:15 PM — Lahbab meeting point
A short stop at the meeting point: there's a shop and toilets, and the driver lets the tyres down for the sand. There are no toilets out on the dunes.
- Dune bashing
About 25–30 minutes over the Al Lahbab red dunes on the way to camp. Tell the driver if anyone wants a gentler ride.
- Gear up for the quad

How the day actually runs
Hotel pickup is included on this combo (Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman), usually 2:30–3:30pm in winter and 3:00–4:00pm in summer. That's different from the standalone quad bike Dubai page, where pickup is an add-on and most people drive to Lahbab. The 4x4 dune bash is on the way in — about 25–30 minutes on the red sand, after a stop at the Lahbab meeting point. Then helmet, a short safety briefing, and you ride; camp is around 6:00.
The reserved ATV slot sits before sunset, still in daylight. Ride a single quad, or a 2-seater with a passenger behind you. You need to be 16 for a full-size quad; kids from 10 can take a junior quad with a guide alongside. Under-10s skip the ride and stay on the camp activities. Pick 30 or 60 minutes when you book. Thirty is enough to learn the throttle and get over a couple of ridges. Take sixty if the bike is why you came — you get further off the camp loop onto taller dunes. We don't sell a 2-hour slot.
After you hand the bike back, sunset is from the ridge. Then the same evening the regular overnight gets: BBQ buffet, tanoura, fire show, belly dance. The shared camp is busy until the evening guests leave around 9:30pm. After that it drops to a handful of people. Stars are darkest around 2–3am. Sleep in a Bedouin-style tent or out on the sand (mattress, blankets, pillows either way). Sunrise coffee around 6am, breakfast, back at your hotel by about 9am. Door to door it's about 18 hours.
How the quad session works
You ride near the camp in the open desert. Automatic bikes, no clutch. You will get dusty — that's the red sand, not a fault in the trip. If you've never ridden, the briefing covers throttle, braking and how to sit on a slope. If someone in the group doesn't want to ride, they wait at camp. You don't have to match rider counts to tents.
