What Is a Desert Safari in Dubai?
A Dubai desert safari is a guided trip from your hotel to the red sand dunes of Al Lahbab, about 45 minutes southeast of Dubai. Most evening safaris run from around 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM and include dune bashing in a 4×4 Land Cruiser, a desert camp stop with BBQ dinner, live shows (belly dance, tanoura, fire show), camel rides, and sandboarding.
Morning safaris are shorter — typically 7:00–10:00 AM — with calmer dune drives and sunrise views.
